Rejected petition Introduce lessons to primary & secondary schools on why discrimination is wrong.
I want Parliament to introduce a lesson to the primary and secondary curriculums on the understanding of discrimination and why it is wrong.
These lessons must teach children to not hate others who have a different skin colour or ethnic background to them or anyone who have a disability.
More details
These lessons will teach children that "different" doesn't mean "bad".
Some children are brought up in households that DON'T teach them to treat everyone as equal, and some children are brought up in households that do teach them that everyone is NOT equal.
Still to this day we are witnesses to discrimination on a huge scale, and this hate towards skin colour, race, culture and disability is due to ignorance. This ignorance must be prevented from the very beginning.
