Rejected petition Reform History in Primary & Secondary Education to include more BAME subjects

We, the undersigned, call on the Department for Education to reform History in Primary and Secondary Schools to include more BAME subjects.

More details

As a qualified teacher, I am calling on the Department for Education to introduce more Black, Asian and Minority History subjects to primary and secondary schools.

I hope this will allow us as a society to address the inequality and systemic racism that disproportionately affects the BAME community.

For this to work, the Department for Education need to work with BAME community and teachers alike to formulate resources and key areas within the subject.
