Rejected petition Reconsider GCSE and A-Level grades and to trust teachers predictions.
We want the government to reconsider the standardisation of GCSE and A-level grades to show a more accurate representation of what we would have achieved. It would not be fair to downgrade 40% just by postcode. To trust the teachers predictions in order to achieve fair grades across the country.
More details
.Fair assessment of each individual pupil
.To recognise the hard work of pupils over their secondary education
. To acknowledge the exceptional circumstances
.Downgrading would further hinder young people's mental health which has already risen due to the pandemic
.To treat the whole of the UK on an equal footing
.Trust that our teachers are best suited to provide accurate predictions on what our performance would've been in the exams
