Rejected petition Use CAG (centre assessed grades) for A levels

The government should use CAG grades for A levels rather than the calculated results from Ofqual.

More details

In these uncertain and difficult times many students have found that their A level results have been marked down from their centre assessed grades due to the process in which Ofqual calculates grades. This is a system based on previous years results and ranking orders rather than focusing on what teachers think the student is capable of.
As a result, many students are missing out on their first choice universities and have unfairly not been given the grades they have worked for and deserve.
