Rejected petition Make it law that GP’s must see patients, as before the covid pandemic.

Make it law that Doctors must see Patients at first contact and not by phone. Illnesses need to be diagnosed in the Surgery, one to one. Dr’s need to see, feel, test and talk through with the patient, this cannot be done over the phone. It will lead to more work for A&E and of deaths.

Patients feel that Doctors are not approachable down the phone. They need one to one contact in the surgery.
Patients have lost confidence in their Doctors and feel they don’t care, therefore more people will not bother and will slip through the net resulting in suffering and deaths.
