Rejected petition Make e scooters not illegal but have safety requirements and rules on riding

I want privately owned e scooters to be treated the same as motorbilty scooters, eletric bikes
Its not fair that you can legally higher on and ride around on roads and paths but not a privately owned one. The worlds technology is advancing the law needs move forward to.

It's wastes police resources and kids are constantly punished. I don't see why you should be allowed to hire one that the local authority gets money beneifit from but not having a private one. As long as they ride safely and adeer to the same safety rules of riding a bike. I have seem more issues and have been physically hurt by a mobility scooter than I have ever with a e scooter
