Channel 4 should remain publicly funded and continue to work to its mandate

Channel 4 provides a wide variety of programmes not found on other channels due to its mandate, these programmes are at risk if not mandated. C4 also provides a large free streaming service which is at risk if the channel is sold to profit making enterprise.

Why was this petition rejected?
