Rejected petition Lowing age for mammogram and being offered an ultrasound for under 50
Lowing the age for men and women to be offered mammogram and ultrasound
More details
I was diagnosed at the age of 47 with breast cancer I found a lump and went to a mobile mammogram cabin which I was turned away and told to go to my gp which I did and was then referred to my local hospital to have a mammogram done then maybe a ultrasound then a biopsy the mammogram found no causes for concern but due to the lumps was sent to have an ultrasound done which then highlighted the cancerous lumps which then lead onto having a biopsy done I strongly believe that men and women should be offered a mammogram and an ultrasound as a routine like the smear test for under 50 as this will definitely help detect an early diagnosis for breast cancer

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
