Rejected petition Let Black History be taught in primary schools.

Black History should be apart of the history curriculum in primary schools across the UK.

Black History should be made mandatory as this will educate ALL children not just children of African/Caribbean decent.Learning the effects of racism and how to challenge the stereotypes.Have an understanding of what Black people have been and go through as early as the slave era to current.How the English colonised Black countries,Nigeria & Jamaica etc.Which now they are Independent nations.Children will recognise the contributions and achievements of those of African and Caribbean heritage, in local communities & worldwide.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
