Rejected petition Ban single use hot drinks cups (consumers must bring reusable cups to takeaway).

Huge quantities of single use cups are being thrown away daily. This is a waste of resources and creates waste.
Anecotally it seems discounts for own use cups are having only a minor incentive effect.
The externalities outweigh the right to a throwaway culture in this instance.
