Rejected petition Ban the outdoor use of metaldehyde, a pesticide used to control slugs.

Every year, wildlife and companion animals suffer an agonising death after consuming slug pellets containing metaldehyde. The UK Expert Committee on Pesticides (ECP) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) advise that metaldehyde poses an unacceptable risk to birds, mammals and other wildlife.
