Rejected petition Give a 2nd "Easter" Bank Holiday later in the year due to lockdown for Covid-19

The people of the UK have "lost" our Easter Bank holiday weekend, due to being in lockdown for the Covid-19 pandemic. It would be only right, and proper to have an additional 4 day weekend later in the year to make up for this.

More details

Citizens of the UK have been extremely vigilant during lockdown, and have been doing exactly as the Government have advised. Losing a 4 day back holiday, and not being able to share it with loved ones, family and friends is extremely upsetting.
Having an additional long weekend to look forward to once it is safe to do so, would be a way of rewarding the NHS, essential workers, and everyone for staying strong and vigilant through these worrying times.
