Rejected petition Reopen Tattoo and Body Piercing shops that have been closed due to the Covid-19
Reconsider opening Licensed Tattoo and Body Piercing establishments inline with other sectors of the beauty industry. The Tattoo and Body Piercing industry has largely been forgotten by the government reopening plans leaving many self employed potentially jobless.
More details
The Tattoo and Body piercing industry has taken major steps to improve and become safe for the general public. Gone are the back street shops and now Main Street boutiques and galleries exist. The industry has been forgotten about, and treated unfairly in the reopening phases. Largely, we feel as an industry that we are trained and prepared to work safely. Many of us operate shops which are registered in local hygiene certification scheme to reinforce our credibility and commitment to safety
