Rejected petition Allow tattoo and piercing shops to reopen, they are sanitised and clean premise.

Britain is set to reopen businesses on July 4th. Tattoo and piercing shops are not included amongst these businesses, despite the fact they always follow strict cleanliness and hygiene rules. The ability to control the spread of germs in a tattoo shop is much easier than a pub. They should reopen.

More details

It will allow those working in these environments to continue to support themselves during this time, and begin to create financial stability for themselves. Tattoo artists and other staff within these facilities continue to struggle.

The fact that these businesses are not able to be open despite their high hygiene standards is ridiculous. Germs are more likely to spread through pubs, libraries and theatres and yet these businesses have been given the thumbs up to reopen.
