Rejected petition Accept the EU Digital COVID Certificate as proof of vaccination status

The UK should extend the same rights to EU vaccinated people, as most EU countries extend to the UK. The NHS vaccination status is widely accepted as proof of vaccination in the EU. The UK should recognize the EU certificate as well.

Currently, only UK residents that have been vaccinated through the NHS are exempt from quarantine when arriving into the UK from an amber list country. This discriminates against people who have had their vaccines elsewhere, even if the vaccines are the same ones used by the NHS.
