Rejected petition: More research and support for PCOS (PMOS)

Rejected on

PCOS affects millions yet remains under-researched. We call on the Government to increase funding for PCOS research, improve NHS support, and encourage workplace policies that provide understanding and reasonable adjustments for those living with PCOS (PMOS)

PCOS affects around 1 in 10 women and can cause infertility, chronic pain, insulin resistance, anxiety, depression and other long-term health complications. Despite its prevalence, research funding and public awareness remain limited. We urge the Government to increase investment in PCOS research, improve NHS diagnosis and treatment, and encourage employers to provide reasonable workplace support and flexibility for those affected.
