I have tried to find a similar petition about making air conditioning mandatory in all schools and nursery’s in the UK, however every one I have come across has either been rejected or closed. The government need to take this seriously and make air conditioning mandatory in schools and nurserys.
Let’s make air conditioning Mandatory in all schools and nursery’s in the UK. This should be a basic requirement. Our summers are getting hotter and longer. My son aged 3 collapsed at pre school today due to the heat, he lost unconsciousness for a few seconds and has been in A&E since midday today. We are now being discharged as he has improved but now my concern is sending him back to school. I am a full time working Mum so it becomes difficult in terms of childcare. This needs to change!
