All schools should have a simple, affordable and inclusive uniform: black skirts, shorts, trousers, joggers or leggings, with a polo shirt and school-coloured jumper. This would reduce costs for families, provide comfortable choices for all children, promote inclusion and ensure pupils feel comfortable, confident and ready to learn.
