Rejected petition: Create a national alert system for all missing children!
Rejected on
The UK Government to introduce a national alert system for missing children.
The system could share key information, such as the child’s name, age, photograph, last known location and clothing, alongside clear guidance on what to do if they are seen.
We need to get children home quicker.
We need the public to be notified when a child goes missing and help bring them home safely. Every minute matters. Currently, information is shared through local police appeals and social media.
Alerts could include the child’s name, age, photograph, clothing, last known location and clear instructions on what to do if they are seen. We petition the Government to establish a nationwide alert system to help locate missing children as quickly and safely as possible.
