Rejected petition: Graduate jobs for newly qualified paramedics
Rejected on
Address and support Paramedic graduates who cannot get a job in the NHS due to lack of funding for the role across the UK, with 40% of graduates unable to find employment.
I urge the UK Government to address the serious shortage of employment opportunities for newly qualified paramedics. After years of demanding academic study, practical training and significant financial investment, graduates are finding themselves unable to secure entry level positions. Parliament must work with ambulance services to create more entry-level positions, ensuring newly qualified paramedics can serve their communities and help meet the growing demand for emergency care.
