Rejected petition Scrap the ineffective traffic light system, preventing those to visit back home.
Rejected on
Investigate how ineffective the traffic light system is, eventually finding a new system which is helping decrease the amount of covid cases.
Also allow those to quarantine at home instead of at a hotel.
It is keeping people away from home, they also have a limited amount of money they can/want to spend in order to visit family.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing travel restrictions, but it's not clear if you want the Government to investigate the current system and develop a new system to replace the current one, or to scrap all restrictions then develop a new system.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
